Suzuki celebrates one year of local Brezza sales with the S-Edition.
Time flies when youre having fun, just ask Suzuki who is already celebrating a year of successful Vitara Brezza sales in South Africa.
Suzukis compact SUV has proven extremely popular with local buyers as it offers everything you could want from an SUV minus things you dont need when going through life in an urban environment, meaning that you get space, SUV styling, and reliability, minus a heavy 4×4 drivetrain.
In celebration of the models success, Suzuki has launched the Vitara Brezza S-Edition which is slots between the GL and GLX models and will be available in both automatic and manual variants. The cosmetic changes which differentiate the S-Edition from other models begin upfront where the standard grille has been updated from bright chrome to pattered cubic chrome.
The front and rear bumpers couldnt escape the S-Edition makeover either and now features Suzukis optional silver front extender garnish with silver highlights on a black backing as standard. Down the side, the S-Edition also features silver side skid plates along with window wind deflectors. Finishing off the S-Editions upgrades is a set of 15-spoke 16-inch wheels in a silver and black finish.
Apart from the standard exterior upgrade, Suzuki also offers buyers the option to further personalise their S-Edition Brezza with the addition of a rear roof spoiler extension, wheel arch cladding, carbon fibre-look side mirror caps, and side cladding in black and red in a carbon fibre style finish.
On the inside, the S-Editions cabin has been uplifted with soft silver highlights which Suzuki has christened Uber Life Silver running from rear door to rear door and along the dashboard. There are also stainless-steel door sill guards engraved with the Vitara Brezza logo. The model also offers the full range of luxuries found in the GL range including dual airbags, a touch screen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and a reverse camera, steering wheel controls for the Bluetooth phone and audio system and climate control.
Powering the S-Edition is a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder engine producing 77kW and the model is offered with Suzukis 5-year / 200 000 km mechanical warranty, a 6-year unlimited mileage body corrosion warranty and a 4-year or 60 000 km service plan. There is also a 3-year / unlimited mileage roadside assistance plan included in the price.
